Hello! Welcome to my new blog, Relationships Considered. This blog is mainly dedicated to (but certainly not limited to) us singles out there, who are waiting for the person who God has for us.
If you're like me, you get the gist from our culture that being single is...well basically Hell on Earth. Those of us without a guy or girl on our arm are this way simply because no one would have us. We are single basically because we couldn't find anyone willing to put up with us.
But, this is not what I believe being single is or should be(and maybe you as well, on the other side of my screen). For me, at the moment, I'm single because I choose to be. I've chosen to put off any relationship with any guy at this time in my life.
Does this mean I never want to get married or date anyone? Not at all. I very much look forward to the day when someone will actually love me like that.
But for now, I'm seeking fulfillment with a different sort of relationship. I'm on a journey to make Jesus the center of my desire; to be satisfied in him instead of constantly seeking completion in a guy.
I thought you may want to join my on this journey of fulfillment. I call it a journey, because I don't have all the answers. I know just about as much as you do in going about being satisfied in someone I can't touch, see or audibly hear. But being complete in God is possible.
